When IVF worked the first time, it felt different from before.
It wasn’t just a test result. It was confirmed, monitored, followed step by step.
At the first scan, we saw something we didn’t expect.
There were two heartbeats.
It started from one embryo, but it had split into identical twins.
For a moment, it felt like everything had changed.
After everything that had happened before, this felt like more than just a start.
We went back for follow-ups, listening to the heartbeat, watching things progress.
It didn’t feel uncertain in the same way anymore.
Until it did.
Around 9 weeks, it stopped.
Both of them.
There wasn’t a clear reason given. Just that it can happen, even when things look like they’re moving forward.
The way the doctor explained things made it easier for us to decide what to do next.
But understanding it didn’t make it easier to accept.
It just meant we had to decide whether to keep going.
If you feel a bit lost at this stage,
you don’t have to figure it out alone,
