He Didn’t Give Up on Us

After that result, I think that was the lowest point for me.

Not because of how dramatic it was…
but because everything just became very quiet.

We didn’t have anything left from that cycle.

I didn’t know what to say,
and I didn’t really ask many questions.

It felt like… maybe this was it.

Then I remember what the doctor said to us.

He told us not to give up.

He said he hadn’t given up on us either.

At that time, I didn’t respond much.
I just listened.

But somehow,
that sentence stayed with me.

It wasn’t loud encouragement.
He didn’t try to convince us with big words.

Just… a simple reminder that
someone was still holding onto this,
even when we didn’t feel like we could.

Looking back,
I think that was the moment that kept us from stopping.

Not because everything suddenly felt better,
but because we weren’t alone in it.
