This part is better told from her side.
I think for me, it didn’t feel as big as people describe it.
When we first found out about IVF,
it was already a few years into trying.
So when the option came,
I didn’t feel scared.
It felt more like…
okay, this is the next step.
We didn’t take a long time to decide.
Since we were overseas at that time,
we even made arrangements to come back.
Everything moved quite naturally.
I didn’t think too far ahead.
Didn’t imagine too many outcomes.
I just thought,
we try.
If it works, then it works.
At that point,
I wasn’t holding fear.
Not even pressure.
Just a simple feeling of moving forward.
Looking back,
I think that calmness helped me more than I realized.
Because before all the waiting,
before all the numbers,
there was just this one step—
quiet, steady,
and without fear.
